First Hike Of The Month

Fall if my favorite season. I’m not sure what it is (perhaps just nostalgia), but there’s something about the colored leaves, crisp skies, squashes, and perfect temperature that just make me jump for joy. It’s a shame that fall is the absolute shortest season here, so of course I couldn’t waste any time in taking advantage of the nearby park. The leaves are just starting to yellow out, with one or two already at a deep red. I can’t wait to see what this place looks like when everything is a rich orange. I desperately want to go pumpkin and apple picking, but I’m not sure if I have the time. I even signed up for a tutoring session that takes place of Thanksgiving day — yes, that’s how scared I am of flunking out on my economics midterm.
