The Short, Quick Summer

Summer this year has been four months – double that of what we had all through elementary and high school. I spend most of my time working and taking long walks to the usual places in the evenings. It all went by quite quickly like I was an adult: everyday with the same routines. Now it’s nearing the end of August, and that means back to studying!

I’m going to be starting in a new university this year in an entirely different program! I’ve moved back into the suburbs and am just in the process of organizing my new room. It’s very large with my own washroom and a walk-in closet the size of a small office. It’s quiet and kind of chilly with tons of huge, old pine trees and a creek running side-by-side a low cliff like those you see in Pocahontas.

The only down side is having to walk up steep hills, and the closest shopping area is 30 minutes away. I can’t imagine what it’s like to walk home from school in the winter…

Anyways, I’ve yet to take pictures, as I’ve still been organizing and cleaning endlessly. Until then, please enjoy these late pictures of my recent vacation!
