Good Things In Small Portions

Went to a Japanese restaurant with my roommate a few weeks ago and just found out that it was listed as #13 in Canada’s best restaurants! It was good and reasonably priced, but I didn’t think it was top notch quality to the point of being top 20 in the country.

There was a wide range of menu items, though; and everything was very authentic. I didn’t think I could get to eat some of these foods outside of Asia. The rarer things and special sushis are pricier though (up to $15 per roll).

Traditional and typical Japanese interior design for small restaurants.

I had the eel on rice. It was very tender and free of bones. I wish there was a bit more rice because of the rich flavor, but all in all a very good choice!
