Hot Head

It has been so sunny recently that I haven’t been going out much. I’ve gotten slightly tanned by crossing the street alone, and don’t have any sunscreen with me at the moment (used to apply SPF130 all the time). But yesterday I headed to the riverside at late noon – a 40 minute walk necessary after eating two slices of chocolate cake at lunch.

I had forgotten my camera (of course), so I had to make do with my phone app. It felt so nice to sit under the tree and enjoy the breeze… and a small box of chili-cheese nachos.

There’s a heat wave today, but I really want to return with my Nikon.

In other news, I had a mango salad with a friend a few days ago… and found a fly in it.
