All Things Orange

Autumn has always been my favorite season. But this year, I’m spending Thanksgiving in the big city, and it’s a lot different than suburbia! Where are the crunchy orange leaves on the sidewalk? Where is the scent of homemade pumpkin spice, the scarecrow on the front lawn, the cinnamon tea by the fireplace?

Unfortunately, there won’t be an extravagant harvest season for me this year. But I’m all for fall. Even without the annual roast turkey, cranberry sauce, or stuffing, Thanksgiving is still Thanksgiving nonetheless.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving (week)!
